Day for Daniel

PublishingPageContent

Friday 29 October is Day for Daniel.  We recognise this day as a way of raising awareness about child protection.  We invite students to wear read on the day instead of their school uniform, and provide a gold coin donation, which goes to the Daniel Morcombe Foundation.  Please note , this is not a free dress day - if children does not wear red clothing, they are expected to be in their school uniforms.

Staff, students and parents are invited to gather at the Yandina cenotaph (corner of Conn and Railway St opposite the hotel) from 7:45 am for an 8:00 start. Park at the school early, to walk to, and return from, the cenotaph.

Please talk with your child about who in their lives they can go to if they feel unsafe.
