Welcome to Yandina State School!
We are thrilled to have you join our vibrant school community. Yandina State School's Prep program is full-time, with children attending classes from Monday to Friday during regular school hours.
The Prep year is a crucial first step in your child's educational journey. Our POWER into Prep Transition program is specifically designed to support both you and your child, ensuring you are fully prepared for the start of the school year in 2026.
Our Prep classrooms are thoughtfully designed to meet the needs of all children. We offer a fantastic Prep playground, specialist music and science rooms, excellent sporting facilities, multipurpose hall, and an outdoor learning area in the Harmony Forest.
We are currently accepting enrolments for 2026 and beyond. Please contact our school administration team to place your child's name on our future enrolment list.

Children must turn five by 30 June in the year they commence prep. To see when your child is eligible to start prep, please use the Queensland Government School Calculator.
