What is our P&C about?
Our P&C involves people just like you - parents, staff members, past parents and community minded people who want to help work closely with the school towards building a stronger school community - where all children benefit!
Our P&Cs operates the schools Tuckshop (Tuesday – Friday + catering for special school occasions) and both a new and second-hand Uniform Shops.  Our second-hand Shop Thursday mornings & afternoons.
Our P&C has and continues to be involved in:
  • School policy decisions and development as well as Financial planning and budgeting.
  • Fundraising activities and Celebrations such as the 125th birthday celebration.
  • School and classroom functions (Discos, Christmas concert – lights and sound)
  • Enhancing students’ learning environment by funding the purchase of red Prep hats, performance and sports uniforms, refurbishment of the Year 6 classroom.
  • Grant writing (since 2012 over $100 000 from: Nambour RSL, Sunshine Coast Council, North Coast Food and Queensland Government for music instruments, library furniture, 125th celebration and 2015 will see us commence our Harmony Rainforest Project)
Current P&C’s goals are:
  • The expansion of the activities room to provide an all-weather venue for school events and extra-curricular activities.
  • Improve the school’s Wi-Fi capabilities.
  • Continue to build the school’s standing in the local community.
  • Harmony Rainforest Project (the result of our successful Everyone’s Environment Grant).
The benefits of joining our P&C
Actions speak louder than words when it comes to valuing your child’s learning. Joining the P&C is one of the best ways to show your children how much you value their education.
How much time is needed?
Getting involved in our P&C doesn’t mean you’re taking up a fulltime job. We know you are busy and we value any amount of time you can spare.
How else can you help?
  • Attend meetings and have your say in important school and P&C policy and funding decisions. (A broad cross-section of opinion from parents helps ensure a strong P&C).
  • Volunteer to help out at the Tuckshop, in fundraisers or functions.
  • Donate items to Tuckshop or Fundraisers
  • Grant Writing
The more people involved in our P&C the more exciting and successful it will be. Great results can be achieved for your children and our school - when we work together.
How do I join our P&C?
