YMCA Outside School Hours Care – Yandina
YMCA Yandina OSHC is based at Yandina State School and welcomes all families from the Yandina community.
YMCA Yandina OSHC offers a wide range of fun, stimulating and diverse programs that reflect real-world experiences and home settings. This helps encourage a sense of community amongst our children, facilitates leadership skill development, and allows children to practise social skills in a supported and caring environment.
Programs and activities are aligned with the YMCA Mission – to provide opportunities for children to grow in body, mind and spirit – underpinned by our values of Honesty, Caring, Respect and Responsibility. We blend this philosophy with the National Quality Framework 'My Time Our Place' and Yandina State School's educational principles to develop appropriate, engaging and most of all FUN activities for your child whilst in our care.
Our Educators escort Prep children to and from their classrooms, as well as all children to and from extra-curricular activities. We provide nutritious breakfasts and afternoon teas (morning tea also included during Vacation Care) that align with the Nutrition Australia guidelines.
Hours of Operation
Before School Care: 6:30am – 8:50am
After School Care: 3:00pm – 6:00pm
Vacation Care: 6:30am – 6:00pm
Enrolment
Parents/Guardians are required to enrol with the service before any child is able to attend – please contact the service for information on how to enrol.
Attendance at YMCA Yandina OSHC can be on a casual, regular or emergency needs basis.
A meeting with the Coordinator is offered to all families upon enrolment; this is an excellent opportunity to discuss any questions and assist in making your child's time with us enjoyable. All enrolling families will receive an Information Package that includes further details and relevant forms.
