There are a number of additional opportunities for students at Yandina to further develop their love of sport, learn new skills, make new friends AND have fun with their peers.
For all enquiries for any of the activities listed below, unless specified, please check our YSS Facebook page and contact the school administration office as soon as possible when the activity is advertised. Please be aware that all students will have to use their own transport to and from venues as no transport is provided. Separate payment and indemnity forms for each activity MUST be completed prior to participation.

| Skill development clinic for boys and girls aged 5-12 years.

Lunch time Sports Club
| Predominantly years 5 & 6 students compete in a round-robin sporting competition on the school oval with the focus on one sport per term.
Some examples are: Dodgeball, Touch Football, Oztag, Ultimate Frisbee, Soccer, Handball and Netball.

Staff v Students
| In week 5 and week 10, the entire school can watch the year 5 & 6 students enjoy a friendly rivalry with the staff in a staff v students sports match - where both teams have the opportunity to show off their skills and have a laugh with each other.

Skateboarding
| Held at Yandina skate park under the instruction of Chiggy's Skateboarding, and supervised by YSS staff.

Surf Lessons
| Conducted at Noosa for students 7 years or older.
All lessons are joined by YSS teacher Mr Hatfield, and under the instruction of Merrick Davis - a two time Australian and World Pro Am Surfing Champion.
