Friday 27th October was Day for Daniel. Yandina State School staff, students and families wore red and walked as a group from town to school together to raise awareness for the Daniel Morcombe Foundation.
Day for Daniel is Australia's largest child safety program. Every year our students walk to school wearing red, and are greeted at the school gates with pikelets and jam made by our amazing tuckshop staff. Throughout the day students are educated about child safety and informed about stranger danger and how to make wise choices.
Thank you to everyone who participated.
